Welcome Lauren to the MUIR team! Lauren MacLeod, RD, LD is a board-certified registered dietitian specializing in outdoor sports nutrition. Even though she's based out of Mammoth Lakes, CA, she's not your typical dirtbag. Lauren has worked in medical nutrition therapy, integrative medicine, eating disorder treatment, elite athlete nutrition, and copywriting and consulting services in the outdoor and wellness industries. Outside of her role at MUIR, Lauren works with Outdoor Women's Wellness to develop nutrition programming and offer virtual coaching to outdoor athletes of all genders. Her goal with MUIR is to use evidence-based nutrition information to help athletes ditch diet culture and instead focus on balanced nutrition and body respect.
