Change. Moving back home. Leaving my friends, my extended family, my job, my identity. Leaving my comfort zone. It was time. Time to leave Brazil and move back to San Diego. After over a decade working in a high stress job (where most of my time was sitting at a desk), it was time for a change. I was excited but nervous. I knew there was something out there for me and I was ready to embark on a new adventure. Something different. Something new. Something unknown.
However, I am familiar with change. Change of cities. Change of countries. Change of languages, norms and rituals. Change of jobs. For so long, my job in Brazil was my identity. I know change brings opportunity but not always without pain. It brings uncertainty. This move would most likely be my last and I was certain for one thing. I knew it would bring me closer to my family and friends and provide new opportunities.
This is where MUIR ENERGY comes in. A new adventure was awaiting me. A new experience. MUIR ENERGY is full of change where each and every day is a new challenge. Running day-to-day operations, helping with production and streamlining systems is all part of this new job change. Spreading the word of MUIR and believing in a product that brings positive energy to everyone is also part of this new experience! This change has also brought me close to my new family, my MUIR ENERGY family.
Takeaway: Embrace change. Don’t be afraid. Change is thrilling. Change is exciting and opens new beginnings. Life gets better not by chance but by change!
