The Ultimate Glamping Snack Guide

If you’re ready to defrost from winter, the summer sun is already on your mind.

Camping is the classic outdoor experience, but food tends to be the last thing on anyone’s mind.

With the growing popularity of luxury camping, aka “glamping”, it’s time to elevate camp food back to the center of the plate. 

Here are a few recipes that are sure to elevate your glamping experience.

Breakfast: Boosted Bagel

MUIR Energy bagel

Serves one (or two if you want to share!)


- 1 whole grain bagel
- 1 banana
- 2 MUIR Energy Cashew Vanilla Mate Energy Gels

Slice open bagel. Spread one Cashew Vanilla Mate Energy Gel on each bagel slice, then top with sliced banana. If you’re feeling extra fancy, add a pinch of cinnamon!

*Remember, our mate energy gels contain 90mg caffeine – the same as a cup of coffee.

Lunch side: Green Salad with red raspberry vinaigrette 

Makes 6 servings


- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp lemon
- 2 MUIR Energy Red Raspberry Energy Gels

Whisk liquid ingredients and Red Raspberry Energy Gel together. Toss with greens of choice – we recommend a blend of spinach and arugula with almonds.

After-hike snack: Crackers with goat cheese and blueberry bergamot

- 1 box whole grain crackers
- 1 log goat cheese
- 2-3 MUIR Energy Blueberry Bergamot Energy Gels

Get creative with your charcuterie. Add prosciutto for bonus glamping points.

- Box of graham crackers
- Bag of marshmallows
- At least 1 MUIR Energy Cacao Almond Energy Gel per person (get a 24 pack for the most sharing potential)
- A blazing campfire

It’s S’mores. But, you know, with MUIR Energy. You know the drill. 

Crack a cracker into two pristine squares. Spread one Cacao Almond Energy Gel on each cracker. Roast a ‘shmellow until it’s golden brown. Smash it in the middle. Repeat.
